Cindy was one of the winners of the 2026 Plein Air Open, selected by Plein Air artist and judge, Charles Newman. She received Best by a First Time Artist (first time in the AOY Open): Cindy Ruenes, Early Spring Along the Delaware River, Oil (shown far right).
