We are eight painters from the Delaware River Valley.

We currently show our work together at The Art Colony  located at 33 Risler Street,  Prallsville Mill, Stockton, NJ.

Open Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4pm, and by appointment. See artist contact info below.

We paint landscapes and still lifes, some done alla prima (all in one sitting), and most from direct observation. We first met several years ago in art classes in Lambertville, NJ.

Since then, members of the group have had artwork accepted into various juried shows, including the Phillips’ Mill Art Exhibition, the Lambertville Historical Society’s Annual Juried Exhibition, the New Hope Arts League Juried Exhibition, the Annual Artsbridge Juried Exhibition, New Hope Arts Juried Show and the Ellarslie Juried Show. Members have also exhibited at Stovers’ Mill, the Tinicum Arts Festival, the Artsbridge Members’ Show and the Canal Frame Craft Gallery.

We often paint together, getting together on weekends at a local venue; or traveling to a weekend destination, painting during the mornings and afternoons and creating a dinner feast for all.

Each of us came to painting from a different place, which just shows how thinking on the right side of the brain can be nurtured, and nurtures us.
